The European Commission invites all interested parties to the online event “A Cloud for all – the European Collaborative Cloud for Cultural Heritage” on 15 March 2023, 10:00-12:30 Brussels time (CET).

The aim of the event is to create a community of stakeholders around the European Collaborative Cloud for Cultural Heritage (ECCCH) and support them for the digital transition. In the first part of the event, the tangible advantages of ECCCH will be presented, while in the second part, participants will have the opportunity to discuss their views and propose solutions on issues such as capacity building, digital collaboration opportunities, etc.

The event will be welcomed by the EU Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth, Ms Mariya Gabriel.

Τhe European Collaborative Cloud for Cultural Heritage is an EU initiative that aims to protect Europe's cultural treasures and ensure that rich cultural heritage continues to thrive in the digital age, providing tangible benefits to the everyday work of heritage professionals and museums of all kinds.

The event in continuation to the related research held in the fall of 2022, where the need to specify the benefit to be derived from the ECCCH arose.
