GRANT SCHEME FOR THE INSTALLATION OR REPLACEMENT OF SOLAR WATER HEATING SYSTEMS (2021).

The Grant Scheme (available in Greek) aims to provide financial incentives, in the form of government sponsorship, to install or replace solar water heating systems in existing housing. The Scheme covers investments involving the purchase and installation of new equipment. The Scheme has been included in the proposals for possible funding from the Recovery and Resistance Mechanism (Regulation (EU) 2021/241).

• Category A: 350 euro: Integrated water heating systems (tank + collectors) whose solar collectors are Solar Keymark-certified
• Category B: 175 euro: Solar Keymark-certified collectors only.

For mountain areas the amount of grant doubles (100% increase).
