10th Call of Measure NSPS ″Investments in Wine Enterprises″

Summary

The Measure aims to encourage investment activity through support for tangible or intangible investments in processing facilities, winery infrastructure and/or marketing of wine.

Detailed Call Description

The Measure aims at encourage investment activity through support for tangible or intangible investments in processing facilities, winery infrastructure and / or marketing of wine which improves the overall performance of enterprises and enhance competitiveness in the wine sector. Investment related to the production and/or marketing of products covered by the Annex VII, Part II to Regulation (EU) No. 1308/2013.

 The eligible beneficiaries are:

  • Beneficiaries Category A: Very small, small and medium-sized enterprises that belong to the category of SMES as defined in the recommendation of the Commission of the European communities dated 06/05/2003.
  • Beneficiaries Category B:  Businesses which are not covered by title I, article 2, paragraph 1, of this recommendation, which employ fewer than 750 employees or with annual turnover of less than EUR 200 million.
  • Beneficiaries Category C: Businesses employing more than 750 employees or with annual turnover of more than EUR 200 million.

For all Agreements signed up to 15/10/2021, the fund rate will reach 50% of the eligible cost of investment. This is a temporary increase due to pandemic, which applies to all categories of beneficiaries.

The minimum amount of the proposed investment (eligible costs) per call of the measure defined at €10,000 for the category of beneficiaries (A), at €20,000 for the category of beneficiaries (B) and €50,000 for the category of beneficiaries (C).

The maximum percentage of support is 40% of eligible costs for the category of Beneficiaries A, 20% of eligible costs for the category of Beneficiaries B and 15% of eligible costs for the category of Beneficiaries C.

Financing percentage by EU or other bodies / Level of Subsidy or Loan

The maximum percentage of support is 40% of eligible costs for the category of Beneficiaries A, 20% of eligible costs for the category of Beneficiaries B and 15% of eligible costs for the category of Beneficiaries C.

In case an unallocated amount remains after the completion of the evaluation of all applications, the maximum sponsorship amount may be differentiated upwards, based on the order of submission of each application.

Eligibility For Participation Notes

Beneficiaries of the financial aid to be granted through the Measure are existing and new companies that produce or market the products listed in Part II of Annex VII to Regulation (EU) 1308/2013, producer organizations, associations of two or more producers or interbranch organizations and fall into the following categories:

  • Beneficiaries Category A: Very small, small and medium-sized enterprises that belong to the category of SMES as defined in the recommendation of the Commission of the European communities dated 06/05/2003.
  • Beneficiaries Category B:  Businesses which are not covered by title I, article 2, paragraph 1, of this recommendation, which employ fewer than 750 employees or with annual turnover of less than EUR 200 million.
  • Beneficiaries Category C: Businesses employing more than 750 employees or with annual turnover of more than EUR 200 million.
