New funding opportunities for businesses and research organisations to address contemporary challenges
- The new call of the €4 million “Research in Business-Energy” programme, which focuses on the development of technological solutions to challenges facing Cyprus in the production, storage, transmission and distribution of electricity.
- The second programme, is called “CO-DEVELOP-REPowerEU” and has a budget of €6 million, while the maximum funding per project amounts to €600,000. The aim is the cooperation between companies and research organisations for the joint design and development of new technologies and cost-effective solutions to challenges such as climate change, energy efficiency in industry, the utilization of renewable energy sources and ensuring the resilience and security of energy systems.
