The Experiential Workshop entitled “Foreseeing” the Future: Strategic Foresight and the Role of the Gender Dimension in Tomorrow’s Research and Innovation Ecosystem, with speaker Dr. Epaneiinondas Christofilopoulos, holder of the UNESCO Futures Research Chair hosted by the Hellenic Foundation for Technology and Research. The aim of the Workshop is to acquaint researchers with the concepts and tools of strategic foresight, as a means of detecting future trends and discussing gender issues that may arise in research, innovation and the development of new technologies. The Workshop is addressed to researchers of all thematic fields from Universities, Research Centers, Businesses and other bodies of Cyprus, who wish to be informed about the latest trends in foresight issues and the gender issues involved in Research and Innovation. During the workshop, participants will be asked to actively participate in hands-on experiential group activities.
The Workshop will take place in Nicosia on Friday, September 15, 2023 between the hours of 08.30 – 13.00, at a place that will be announced at a later stage to all those who express an interest in participating. For your information, the Workshop Programme is attached.
