The beneficiaries &#8211; which need to be from the described organisations &#8211; will empower consumers by enhancing their knowledge of their rights,\u00a0obligations, and choices in the market &#8211; with particular attention\u00a0to the most vulnerable consumers.\r\n\r\nFor more information, visit the dedicated\u00a0<a class=\"ecl-link\" href=\"https:\/\/eismea.ec.europa.eu\/funding-opportunities\/calls-proposals\/call-proposals-action-grants-support-consumer-education-awareness-raising-and-local-advice-consumers_en\"><em>Call for proposals for action grants to support consumer education, awareness raising and local advice to consumers (SMP-CONS-2024-EDU)<\/em><\/a>\u00a0page.\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\nTwo renewed calls are open to specific categories of applicants.\r\n\r\nOne targets\u00a0<strong>public bodies or private non-profit bodies such as NGOs, charities, Consumer associations\u00a0<\/strong>able to provide\u00a0<strong>stable debt advice services\u00a0<\/strong>in the 27 Member States &#8211; with a budget of \u20ac1.000.000\r\n\r\nFor more information, visit the dedicated\u00a0<em><a class=\"ecl-link\" href=\"https:\/\/eismea.ec.europa.eu\/funding-opportunities\/calls-proposals\/call-proposals-action-grants-promote-stable-debt-advice-services-smp-cons-2024-da_en\">Call for proposals for action grants to promote stable debt advice services (SMP-CONS-2024-DA)<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>page.\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\nThe other is open to\u00a0Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Bodies notified to the European Commission pursuant to Article 20(2) of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/legal-content\/EN\/TXT\/?uri=celex%3A32013L0011\">Directive 2013\/11\/EU on consumer ADR<\/a>\u00a0and Qualified Entities pursuant to Article 4 of the\u00a0<a class=\"ecl-link\" href=\"https:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/legal-content\/EN\/TXT\/?uri=celex%3A32020L1828\">Representative Actions Directive (EU)2020\/1828<\/a>, which can get \u20ac1.000.000 under this action grant.\r\n\r\nMore details on the eligible applicants and info on the call are available in the\u00a0<a class=\"ecl-link\" href=\"https:\/\/eismea.ec.europa.eu\/funding-opportunities\/calls-proposals\/call-proposals-action-grants-provide-financial-contributions-adr-bodies-and-rad-qualified-entities_en\"><em>Call for proposals for action grants to provide financial contributions to ADR Bodies and RAD Qualified Entities (SMP-CONS-2024-ADR-RAD)<\/em><\/a>\u00a0webpage.\r\n\r\nFor this call, EISMEA will organise (date to be soon announced) an\u00a0<strong>online info session\u00a0<\/strong>targeted to potential applicants wishing to learn more about the call objectives and how to increase their chances of submitting a successful proposal.\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\nFinally, the EU renews its support to the activities of\u00a0<strong>BEUC<\/strong>, the consumer organisation at the Union level. BEUC is the umbrella group for 45 independent consumer organisations from 31 countries and represents the consumers to the EU institutions, defending their interests.\r\n\r\nThe action grant called &#8220;Invitation for the Operating Grant to support the activities of the consumer organisation at the Union level \u2013 award to the beneficiary identified in the legal base \u2013 BEUC&#8221; has BEUC as pre-identified beneficiary, with a budget of\u00a0 \u20ac2.400.000.
